Located in the heart of Old Town Lafayette, is a place where folks can gather in a fun, relaxed atmosphere and bring the pooch along too.
Like many great things, this started with a passion. We think that just because dogs have been domesticated, doesn't mean they need to sit at home while their guardians step out to socialize.
While our best friends might not have the lobbying power to change the rules of society, we think they should still be included in the plans.
Our inside bar area is designed for human hangout, and a great place to catch up with friends while enjoying a smooth beverage.
Our enclosed pavilion allows on-leash canine companions and is temperature controlled for year-round enjoyment.
The outdoor biergarten area permits well-behaved, off-leash canines who have been registered with us, accompanied by a pass that can be purchased daily, monthly or yearly.
Yearly memberships come standard with special perks reserved specifically for our loyalty members.
To promote safety and responsibility, all areas of our establishment are reserved for ages 16 and up.

A wonderful dog bar. There’s an outdoor dog park area for your dog to run around while you enjoy one of their many options for beer and cider. The bartenders, and owners, Maria and Lenny, are very hospitable and welcoming. There’s also covered outdoor seating and an indoor space with a bar. They have a few snack options on their menu as well. Highly recommend!

July 16, 2019 at 6:36 AMThis place is tough to drive by! Calm atmosphere with hipster tunes, plus dogs allowed. There’s also neat dog décor. The beer list is vast and we always find something excellent. Maria and Lenny are very kind and always welcoming. The layout is large, and has numerous options with seating in and outside. We like to enjoy our beers in the partially covered/enclosed patio area! There’s also a play area for dogs outside. The building was a drive in diner so there’s good parking, plus a bike rack. They also have some fun card games to play and cans of beer to go. When we have friends in town we always take them here and it pleases. We love Romero’s and it’s our favorite spot in Lafayette to sip and chat. There’s over two dozen local brews to choose from, plenty of seating options and a cool environment!
